At Mindful Learners Montessori Studio, we act as a gentle extension of the traditional Montessori home and classroom. We do not design spaces or programs merely to "keep children busy." Instead, we operate with a deep, humble reverence for the child's natural development. Our mission is to guide families through curiosity, treating children as inherently capable, independent beings who deserve immense respect.
Whether welcoming your infant in their first months, sharing a quiet morning of observation with your toddler, or transforming your private residential spaces into child-led environments, we are here to support your family's path toward lifelong peace and independence.
The Prepared Environment
When you step into our studio—or work with us to reset your own home—you will immediately notice a difference. We mindfully reject plastic toys, flashing screens, and restrictive baby gear that limit a child’s physical milestones.
Instead, we curate beautiful, ordered spaces filled with authentic, tactile, and natural materials:

Solid Wood & Woven Elements: Shelving, tables, and baskets are scaled precisely to the child's physical dimensions, allowing them to choose, use, and return their own work without adult intervention.

Real Metal & Glass: We introduce real, breakable objects like heavy-bottomed glass cups and small metal pitchers. These elements provide honest, natural sensory feedback, letting children safely practice careful movement and self-correction.

Freedom Within Limits: Our spaces remove traditional barriers, prioritizing low floor beds, accessible open shelving, and functional workspaces that invite deep, uninterrupted concentration.
The Work of the Child
We do not view a child’s focused engagement as "just playing" or "messing around." To us, this is the work of the child. Through purposeful exploration, collaborative practical life activities—like preparing their own meals—and graceful community interactions, children naturally construct their own coordination, order, and concentration.
When behavioral friction or transitions occur, we choose to step back, observe, and look at the environment first. We believe that by preparing the right environment and introducing gentle habits of Grace and Courtesy, we can resolve conflict naturally and watch your child’s true potential bloom.

My journey into the Montessori method began with a deep reverence for the child’s natural capacity to learn, grow, and lead through curiosity. As an AMS-trained educator, I spent years guiding children in the Primary Children’s House before dedicating the past two years to the transformative world of the Toddler Community. It was within these spaces that I witnessed the profound magic of the absorbent mind and the deep peace that emerges when a child finds uninterrupted concentration.
However, observing our current world climate made me realize that many traditional institutions simply lack the time, flexibility, and resources required to nurture children as they truly deserve. I saw parents searching for deeper support, and children needing spaces that respect their independence rather than just keeping them busy. This realization sparked the vision for Mindful Learners Montessori Studio—a desire to move beyond the constraints of the traditional classroom walls and bring the magic of the Prepared Environment directly into our weekend communities and family homes.
When I am not in the studio, you will likely find me exploring local estate sales and secondary markets, hunting for authentic vintage heirlooms. Sourcing pre-loved solid wood trays, real metal pitchers, and unique tactile objects is more than a personal passion; it is a core part of my work. I love mindfully preparing spaces for learning, ensuring that every shelf, basket, and tool we place respects the child's capabilities and brings a sense of beauty, order, and calm into your family's life.
The Prepared Environment
Mindful Learners Montessori Studio offers a "curiously curated" prepared home environment where your child can follow their natural thirst for answers about the world around them. Our studio is a small sanctuary dedicated to the developmental needs of children ages two to six.
